Thank you so much for your interest in the “Caring Cooks” Food Ministry! This ministry would not be possible without those who generously donate their time, resources, and talents to provide a gift of love for those in need. Please look over the following information and then complete the Contact Form at the bottom of the page. Please place your completed Contact Form in a gift bag, located in the foyer, the auditorium windows or Fellowship Hall. New “Caring Cooks” Teams for 2008 will be created and new Team lists for the 2008 year will be available by January. Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful service to our church family!

The “Caring Cooks” Food Ministry is made up of a “Caring Cooks” Coordinator, “Caring Cooks” Team Captains, and “Caring Cooks” Team Members.

The “Caring Cooks” Coordinator will serve for a designated time, usually one year. All food requests and food needs should be communicated to the Coordinator directly. She should contact the “food family” (or recipient) in order to inquire about the following: (1) best days for delivery, (2) best time for delivery, (3) dietary needs, (4) meal size needed and, (5) directions to the “food family’s” home. The Coordinator will be responsible for assigning each food request to a “Caring Cooks” Team Captain and relaying all the information gathered from the “food family” to the Team Captain.

The “Caring Cooks” Team Captain will select members of her team to prepare and deliver meals. She will be responsible for relaying all the information gathered from the “food family” to her Team Members.

The “Caring Cooks” Team Members are responsible for providing the needed meal on the requested day and time.
